These terms apply when you use the Mindbyte app (“Mindbyte”, “we”, “us”). By using Mindbyte, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You can use Mindbyte as a guest or sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or email. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Guest progress may be lost if you delete the app before signing in.
Mindbyte Plus
- Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through the App Store or Google Play at the price shown before you buy.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings, or from Settings → Manage subscription in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- We may change prices or what Plus includes. Price changes apply from your next renewal, and the store will notify you as its rules require.
Content
Mindbyte's cards, illustrations, maps and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning. Don't copy, redistribute or resell them.
Content is for general education and may simplify complex topics. It isn't professional advice (for example medical, financial or legal advice), and we don't guarantee it's complete or error-free.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Mindbyte: for example, by trying to access other people's data, getting around Plus restrictions, scraping content, reverse engineering the app, or disrupting the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Availability
We work to keep Mindbyte running and improving, but we may change, pause or stop features or the app without notice. Mindbyte is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or progress. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Apple users
If you downloaded Mindbyte from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance and isn't responsible for claims about the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Your use must also follow the App Store's Standard EULA terms where they apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Mindbyte means you accept the updated terms.
